Characteristicsof Optical Brightener OB-1, OBA 393:

  • It provides a bright and neutral white color to offset yellowing.

Its low volatility and excellent heat resistance make it highly ideal for

applications in fibers and engineering plastics that are processed at high temperatures.

  • It also has good light fastness.

In Terms of Appearance Effect

Bright and Neutral White: The optical brightener OB-1is capable of creating a bright white appearance. Its characteristic of"neutral white" implies that the white light it emits is relativelypure, without any obvious color cast. It performs excellently in compensatingfor yellowing. Many materials tend to turn yellow after being placed for a longtime or undergoing certain processing treatments.

Optical brightener OB1 can basorb invisible ultraviolet light

(with a wavelength range of approximately 300- 400nm) and then emit bule or bluish purple fluorescence (with a wavelength range ofapproximately 420-480nm).

This fluorescence complements the yellowish tone ofthe material itself, visually enhancing the whiteness and making the materiallook even whiter and more attractive. For example, in some white plastic products, the use of optical brightener OB1 can restore the original white appearance ofthe plastic products and enhance the aesthetics of the products.

In Terms of ChemicalProperties

Low Volatility: This characteristic enables the fluorescentbrightener OB1 ,OBA 393 to maintain a stable existence state during the applicationprocess.

Excellent Heat Resistance: It has obvious application advantages in fibermaterials and engineering plastics processed at high temperatures. Theprocessing temperatures are usually around 200 - 300. The heat resistance of   OB1 enables it to effectively whiten in high temperature environments, ensuring the whiteness and

appearance quality of plastic products.
